The Coral Sands Golf Course is your only option for golf in the country, but for not having any other options, the course is not too bad. The greens are made of astro-turf, which is laid upon coral, making the greens a bit bumpy and extremely slick! The Fairways are bordered by thick brush and vegetation, including beautiful palm trees.
The course is located on the island of Diego Garcia, which is occupied by the U.S. military.
Diego Garcia is warm and humid all year long, so there is not a better time than another to go take your holiday.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
